The Merrick Chamber of Commerce announced that they will be honoring Merrick's first responders at Chateau Briand on Jan. 24.
"We are honoring our first responders including the Merrick Fire Department, North Merrick Fire Department, North Bellmore Fire Department, Bellmore-Merrick EMS and Nassau County Police Department, " Lorraine Dary, the executive assistant for the Chamber, said in an email to Patch. "All are welcome!"

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and Chateau Briand is located at 440 Old Country Rd. in Carle Place. Cost for dinner is $65 per person. For more information, please call the Merrick Chamber of Commerce at 516-771-1171.
