Camp Avenue School Students Honored by Town of Hempstead
The third graders won the Covanta Recycling Poster Contest.
Students from the Camp Avenue School were recently honored by the Town of Hempstead.
Third graders Robert Sileo, Sophia Bendik and Mia Zagariello were given official Town of Hempstead Certificates of Recognition by Town Supervisor Kate Murray for winning the Covanta Hempstead Recycling Poster Contest.
The awards were given at the 23rd Annual Covanta Hempstead Recycling Poster Contest reception at Chateau Briand in Carle Place.
