Calhoun Student Approached by Stranger

The man approached the student in his car while they were walking home from school.

A stranger attempted to lure a Calhoun student into his car while he was walking home from school Tuesday, district officials confirmed to Patch.

The man allegedly approached the student offered the child a ride. He continued to approach the student, repeating "hello" before speeding off, a school spokesperson said.

The man is described to be in his mid-40s with brownish red hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a red shirt and was driving a white sedan.
