Mobile Building Dept. Heads to Bellmore-Merrick to Help Sandy Victims

Officials will be in the area on April 25 and May 11.

The Hempstead Town Mobile Building Department is on the road to provide victims of Hurricane Sandy with important Building Department services, including the distribution and processing of permit applications, as well as the opportunity to meet with an on-site Plans Examiner.

Many Sandy victims have utilized the helpful services provided by the Mobile Building Department, which has visited several communities in the wake of the Superstorm.

“The aftermath of Sandy has truly been difficult for many of our residents,” Murray said. “We want to do everything we can to assist neighbors as they work hard to rebuild after the Superstorm and return to normalcy.”
