Swirlz World Celebrates Grand Opening

The Merrick Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the new fro-yo hotspot.

Although Swirlz World has only been open a few months, the latest frozen yogurt place (and the first in North Merrick) has been making it's mark on the community.

With a candy wall and neon lighting, the froyo shop seeks to help patrons satisfy their sweet teeth without having to make the drive from North Merrick to South Merrick. Swirlz World also jumped headfirst into the community, for example, by donating a portion of their sales to the North Merrick School District to go towards the purchase of a new sign for Camp Avenue School, which is being renovated this summer.

The new hotspot recently celebrated it's grand opening, which was kicked off by a Merrick Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. The Eddi Family, owners of Swirlz World, were also presented with New York State and Town of Hempstead Citations.
