Mangano Announces July Senior Activities in Merrick

County Executive Edward Mangano recently announced July senior activities that will take place in Merrick.

The following activities will take place at Jewel Quinn Senior Community Center at the Brookside School:

• Exercise class: Classes will take place on Mondays July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 10:30 a.m.
• Community Outreach Van: Residents can get screenings for cardiac history, blood pressure and a simple blood test for cholesterol and diabetes on Tuesday, July 2. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Medication Management: Presented by St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Allied Professionals on Tuesdays July 9 and 16 at 11 a.m.
