As a Merrick  native, I was thrilled to become a part of Patch. I love Merrick and I love cooking so it seemed a no-brainer to marry the two in a column.

I hold a BA in Creative Writing and just finished my Master's Degree in English Literature. I also teach writing at at a university.

I love to read and write...and of course taste all different kinds of food!
