Interesting ideas. Keep up the good work here. By the way, add some photos up top. It will make theRead More page look a little better! MG

I like it. I find it interesting though that to my knowledge Patch now has 3 different profileRead More layouts. I mean.... I've heard of A/B testing before but A/B...C! testing, very unique lol. A few suggestions though... I would use the tools that AOL has to offer and make use of the side navigation a little more, I understand the ad blocks but given that Patch has spent close to 350 Million dollars in developing the Brand and concept, I would invest a little more time into creating Geo Targeted ad blocks as opposed to a 1, 2 Banner Rotation schedule. Also, Add the map... Make use of the directory and throw the Map Quest map on the side with all local and surrounding businesses. Maybe a local weather tool would be nice, based on the users IP address you can target the users location to the nearest zip code and simply pull in a feed from a third party channel. With a little more thought, I could write something up but my guess is Patch is on top of it. My feeling is simple... Use what AOL offers.. incorporate and cross promote the AOL brands and make use of the platform where relevant and makes most sense.
