R.S. Jones is by far my favorite restaurant. The staff is absolutely the best, and the food is fantastic. And as my wife will tell anyone, the chocolate martinis are the best around.

A little bit of country in Merrick is RS Jones' claim to fame. Combining southwest, barbeque, comfortable surroundings and a staff that has been working together for a real long time, it's no wonder RS Jones has been a longtime local favorite.
Margaret Mueller and Carole Olkoski opened RS Jones (originally known as Rattlesnake Jones) in 1993. Their dream was to build a unique space where people could come and find comfort in the food and atmosphere. The love of country music inspired the cowboy theme.

My family has been going to R.S. Jones since day 1. It's a great place. I especially love their "Smashed potatoes." I wish I could give it more than five stars, it's a GREAT place. The staff is friendly and the food is to die for.
We are long-time RS Jones fans. The food is never boring--new specials every night--and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Food used to be excellent, now, not so much, although staff is still great!
