Grand Opening of the Fabulous Place
  • Be Fabulous Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 non profit fitness/wellness company.  
  • We are opening up a home base in Bellmore on Merrick Road.  This location will offer fitness and wellness seminars. 
  • We also have locations in Wantagh and Seaford where we hold other fitness and wellness events.
Blood Drive in Massapequa
  • Donate at the Massapequa Presbyterian Community Church on Friday, Sept. 6 from 4-8:30 p.m. 
  • Walk-ins welcome or call 347-865-4000 for an appointment to reduce wait time.
  • Ask about the Alyx Component Collection System that uses a smaller needle and donates twice as many red blood cells. There is no substitute for human blood! 
NY Giants Autograph Signing in Levittown
  • Sean Landeta played almost half of his career for the New York Giants, where he won two championship rings in Super Bowl XXI and Super Bowl XXV
  • He also played for the Rams, Buccaneers, Packers and Eagles.  
  • Landeta led the NFL in punts with 107 in 1999, led the NFL in gross punting in 1994 with a 44.8 average, led the NFL with a 37.8 net average in 1989, and led the league with 24 punts inside the 20 in 1990.  
Animal Lovers Meet at Eisenhower Park Dog Run
  • Please Join Tom Suozzi and Hempstead Town Council Candidate Diane Madden’s Campaign for Animal Welfare.

A Brush With Sandy Art Show in Massapequa
  • Studio 5404, Art Space presents "A Brush With Sandy," a juried art show representing artwork inspired by Superstorm Sandy. 
  • Profits from sales will go towards Sandy relief. 
  • Poetry readings by Bards Initiative publication, "Songs of Sandy" and poet laureate Ed Stever. Refreshments will be served. Suggested donations of $5.
Junior League of the Women's Club of Farmingdale
  • The Junior League of the Women's Club of Farmingdale is where you will find strong lasting friendships with shared similarities.  
  • It is a place to contribute ideas, information, and share common goals to make a difference in our community.  
  • Various speakers attend our meetings based on the needs and interests of our members. Our first meeting of the year will be held on Friday, Sept. 6.
