Veterans Day, Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Meeting
A look at what's happening in and around the Merrick area this week.
1. Free Meals For Veterans: In honor of Veteran's Day on Monday, Applebees of Bellmore will offer veterans free meals all day.
2. Schools Closed: Merrick and North Merrick schools will be closed on Monday in observance of Veteran's Day.
3. Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District Meeting: The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District will have its monthly Board of Education meeting on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
4. Levy Lakeside Night of Shopping: Enjoy a night of shopping, raffles and snacks at the event sponsored by the Lakeside PTA on Thursday at 5 p.m.
