Thanksgiving Menorah Car Parade, Black Friday
A look at what's happening in Merrick this week.
1. Thanksgiving: Get those turkeys ready because Thanksgiving is on Thursday! Schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
2. Hanukah: Hanukah will begin on Wednesday. Happy Hanukah!
3. 7th Annual Thanksgiving Menorah Car Parade and Menorah Lighting: In honor of Chanukah and Thanksgiving coinciding for the first time in almost 100 years, the Chabad Center will presents its 1st Annual Thanksgiving Menorah Car Parade for the first night of Chanukah on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
4. Black Friday: Calling all shoppers! Black Friday is this Friday. Patch will have your local shopping guides this week.
