Don't put away the snow blowers just yet.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a weak snow storm to roll over the area on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, leaving behind 2-to-5 inches across Long Island.

While that seems minimal compared to the Feb. 8 Blizzard, the snow will accumulate enough to cause treacherous driving conditions on the morning of Valentine's Day and add to the blizzard cleanup headache.

Unlike the last storm, winds should not be an issue this time around. Forecasts call for light winds around 8 to 13 mph, possibly gusting to 18 at times. It will not create whiteout conditions, but might cause moderate blowing of newly fallen snow.

The storm, part of a low-pressure system, will bring behind it a cold-front that will help shift temperatures back for the end of the week, as highs will drop to the mid-30's ahead of what could be the next talked about winter storm - this weekend.

As of this time, the National Weather Service has not issued any advisories or warnings associated with Wednesday's forecast.

Stay tuned to Patch as we continue to monitor the storm!
