HADASSAH NAMES TARA STIER MYRTLE WREATH RECIPIENT

The Merrick-Bellmore Dayan Lilah Group of Hadassah has announced that member Tara Stier will receive the prestigious Myrtle Wreath Award from the Nassau Region of Hadassah.   The Myrtle Wreath Award is Hadassah's highest honor, recognizing members for their efforts in membership development. “Tara has brought in several new members over the past year and is always actively looking for more,” said Dayan Lilah Co-President Meredith Gray.    Ms. Stier will receive her award on April 18th.  A member of Dayan Lilah since 2011, she has co-chaired Hadassah’s Stem Cell Walk the past two years. She is a lifetime member of Hadassah and is also actively involved with organizations including The Jewish Women's Renaissance Project, the Hebrew Academy of Nassau County PTA and The Leukemia Lymphoma Society. A teacher of the deaf, Ms. Stier lives in East Meadow with her two sons.   Hadassah, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer women's organization whose members are motivated and inspired to strengthen their partnership with Israel, ensure Jewish continuity and realize their potential as a dynamic force in American society.
