Gabrielle Toback Honored for Swimming Excellence

Gabrielle Toback is a senior at Calhoun High School and this is her sixth year swimming for the Sharks. 

Toback qualified as All-Division in the 50 Yard Freestyle and is the Division A Backstroke Champion. She also qualified as All-Long Island in the 100 Yard Backstroke.

As a member of both the 200 Yard Medley and 400 Yard Freestyle Relays that won Division and County titles, Toback qualified for the State Championships on both relays and individually in the 50 Yard Freestyle and the 100 Yard Backstroke. She finished second in the 100 Yard Backstroke at the State Championships qualifying as All-State with an All-American Consideration time of 56.19, setting a new County Record.  

Toback holds the individual school records in 50 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Backstroke. She will be attending and swimming for Columbia University in the fall.
