FREE: Islanders Scrimmage, Practice Open to Public

The New York Islanders announced that the club will play a Blue and White scrimmage, free to the public, at Nassau Coliseum on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. Training camp practices at Nassau Coliseum on Tuesday, Jan. 15 and Thursday, Jan. 17 will also be free to the public. 

The Blue and White scrimmage will feature players attending Islanders Training Camp such as John Tavares and Mark Streit, as well as players currently playing for the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, such as David Ullstrom and Casey Cizikas. The Islanders will stream the game live on their website for those fans that are unable to attend.

Season ticket holders will receive the premium game experience in an exclusive on the glass location. They will also have the opportunity to high five the players as they take the ice. 

To reserve your spot in the exclusive on the glass location, contact your season ticket representative or Islanders Customer Service at 1-800-882-ISLES ext. 2.  

The Islanders’ open training camp practice on Tuesday, Jan. 15 is set for 11 a.m. and the Thursday, Jan 17 session will begin at 10 a.m. Admission to the open practices will also be free for the general public. Parking is also free. Fans planning to attend any of the three events are asked to enter through the Nassau Coliseum Box Office.

Between school security, and now this, I motion that we get rid of that skell!

As Sacristan at Cure of Ars, I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Rich (as I called him) for some time. He was a man of faith and a pleasure to see. Always with a smile and kind word, you would never know what was going on the way he acted. This was a wonderful and insightful article. It is heartbreaking to think that where there was once love between 2 people, things got to the point where one persons life was destroyed by those who could and did for no apparent reason other than having the ability to do so. God will have mercy on Dr. Rich and the ex-wife and "Judge" should pray for the same given their actions.
