Beautiful People Salon Opens Second Location on Merrick Road

Beautiful People Salon has recently opened its second location at 2207 Merrick Road.

Owners Jorg Heras and his wife, Judy, opened their first salon at 145 North Merrick Avenue.

"The business was my wife's vision," Jorg Heras said. "She has been a hairdresser since she has been in high school."

The salon offers an array of services such as: cuts, washes, hair extensions and make-up.

"The customer experience is what makes us stand out," Heras said. "There is a salon on every corner, but the atmosphere and the vibe makes us stand out from the rest."

Carolyn Zito, who has been going to the salon for five years, agreed.

"Everyone makes you feel special when you come here," she said. "They use quality products, I love the atmosphere and you feel really satisfied when you walk out of here."
