North Merrick School Board Candidate: Linda Fuller

I have proudly been a trustee of the North Merrick Board of Education since 1998, and I am seeking reelection.  

I have a Master’s degree in elementary education and a Bachelor’s degree in business administration.  I was formerly a bank examiner and Assistant Vice-President of internal audit. I am now an elementary teacher for Long Beach Public Schools.

During my years on the North Merrick Board of Education, I have supported practices and routines that make North Merrick a true learning community. Additionally, my experiences in the field of banking have provided an ideal background to provide insight when difficult financial decisions have had to be made. Such as these times of constant decreases in state aid, which necessitates redirection of resources if quality programs are to be maintained.

I have been deeply committed to the community and a resident of North Merrick my entire life. I will continue to support quality education for our children while being financially prudent to the taxpayers of the community.
