One person was transported to Nassau University Medical Center after a head-on crash at Merrick Road and Lindenmere Drive Tuesday morning.
According to sources, the incident occurred as 8:45 a.m. when one vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic.
The Merrick Fire Department transported one person to NUMC, and the extent of their injuries is unknown.
