A Hofstra University student was robbed Sunday morning on Meadowbrook Road in Hempstead, according to a mobile alert from the school's emergency system.
According to the alert, the robbery took place at 12:30 a.m. and the four subjects, one of whom was wearing all red, fled in a tan Nissan.

Confused. Is this Meadowbrook Rd in Hempstead, or in Merrick/North Merrick? The article states in Hempstead (assuming Village of) with a Nassu Police car pictured.

Just that either way it's close to home. I have two nieces attending Hofstra. They're smart but this could happen to anyone at anyplace.
