Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray recently presented an official Town
of Hempstead Citation for 50 Years of Outstanding Service to Jeffrey Wortman of
Merrick, who was recently honored at the Merrick Fire Department’s 89th
Annual Inspection and Installation Dinner in
Uniondale.

Merrick was also on hand to commend Firefighter Wortman on 50 years of making a
major difference in the Merrick Fire Department and the local community.
