- On March 28, a shopper at Trader Joe's at 1714 Merrick Rd. reported that her wallet was stolen out of her purse while she shopped.
- On March 24, Carolyn Parisa, 46, of Bellmore, was arrested on Merrick Road and Wynsum Avenue in Merrick and charged with driving while intoxicated.
