Merrick Avenue 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

They stole cash from the register, as well as a store clerk's cell phone and wallet, police said.

Cops are seeking the community's help in identifying the three men responsible for robbing 7-Eleven at gunpoint in East Meadow Tuesday.

According to police, at 1:40 a.m., two black males dressed in dark clothing entered 7-Eleven at 331 Merrick Ave., while a third black male remained outside. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and jumped over the counter, while the second man removed cash from the register.

They also stole an employee's wallet, cash and cell phone. The three men fled eastbound on Front Street with an unknown amount of money. No injuries were reported.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
