Police: Man Robs Merrick Gas Station Armed With Knife, Gun

The suspect allegedly emptied the register before fleeing in a vehicle.

The BP Gas station on Merrick Road was robbed late Wednesday night, police said.

According to police, a black male, armed with a knife entered the gas station shortly before 11 p.m. and threatened the employee with a gun. He then allegedly fled the scene in a vehicle.

No injuries were reported. There was no one else in the station at the time of the Robbery. The suspect is described as 5’ 8” tall, bald, clean-shaven, wearing a long sleeve black shirt and jeans.
