Firefighters Extinguish Car Fire on Merrick Road

There were no injuries, fire officials said.

Firefighters extinguished a car fire on Merrick Road on Tuesday night, fire officials said. 

There were no injuries.

An Infinity SUV, parked in the Astoria Federal Bank parking lot, caught fire around 5:30 p.m.

The incident is still being investigated.
