  • A Centereach man was arrested on Oct. 30 after he allegedly promised to renovate a Merrick couple's kitchen and then stole $10,000 without completing the work.
  • On Nov. 5, a South Hempstead man was arrested for allegedly selling heroin in North Merrick and Lynbrook. He was arrested on Pettit Avenue in North Merrick.
