Crime Report Part I: Virginia Man Arrested For Burglary, Woman Involved in Drug Bust
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.
- On July 26, Donald Smith, 45, of Newport News, Va. was arrested for an alleged burglary on Clubhouse Road. Police said that Smith jumped into Merrick Bay to avoid arrest.
- On July 28, Callie Faustmann, of Merrick was arrested after a traffic stop in Elmont turned into a major drug bust.
- On July 29, Sergey Fattakhov, 23, of Bellmore was arrested on Monday after he allegedly burglarized homes in Bellmore, Wantagh and Merrick.
