Cops: Man Robs Baldwin, Merrick Convenience Stores

Nassau County Police are searching for information about a set of robberies committed by the same man in Merrick and Baldwin.

Cops said at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man went to the Fast Break Convenience Store in Merrick, revealed a black handgun, and demanded cash from an employee.

The man fled on foot and at 1:59 a.m., held up a 7-Eleven in Baldwin, cops said. He then fled east on Atlantic Avenue.

No injuries were reported in the robberies.

The subject is described as a white man, 180 pounds, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches, and was wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers at the time.
