Cops: Man Caught Stealing Crest White Strips from CVS, Rite Aid

A Bellmore man was arrested Thursday for allegedly stealing Crest White Strips from CVS and Rite Aid, according to police.

On Thursday at 2:10 p.m., a CVS clerk at the 2034 North Jerusalem Rd. location allegedly observed the man taking Crest White Strips before running out the front door without paying.

While searching the area, cops saw a vehicle occupied by two men driving recklessly. A witness to the theft was able to identify the passenger as the suspect who stole the items from CVS.

Cops said he was in possession of the stolen property as well as four other boxes of Crest White strips that had Rite Aid labels on them. He was arrested and transported to First Precinct for processing. He's been charged petty larceny, a misdemeanor, police said.

The stolen items were returned.
