A car that was parked on Sherman Avenue in Merrick was damaged sometime between late Thursday and early Friday.
According to Anthony D'Avanzo, who owns the vehicle, his Maza CX-7 has a rock, which he described "the size of a softball" thrown through the side window between Thursday at 11 p.m. and Friday at 6 a.m.
