Subject: RE: MTA PD Parking at LIRR Merrick Station

Good morning, Mr. Gerakaris.   You may recall the correspondence below regarding MTA Police cars being parked illegally in the Pickup and Drop-off Zone at the Merrick LIRR station.

You had some measure of success in putting a stop to offending MTA officers' conduct, but not completely so. There is still one vehicle, Car 587, that is still being parked illegally and causing passenger difficulties as a result. Please see the attached file.

I would like to ask you to re-address this matter and convey to the offending officer that this parking abuse must stop. There is no reason why Car 587 cannot be parked in one of the MTA Police Only parking spots that are right nearby.

Thank you for your time and attention.
