The Merrick-North Merrick Little League (MNMLL) has begun rebuilding efforts after Hurricane Sandy wiped out a large percentage of their equipment and damaged its fields.
According to Joseph Rocco, president of the MNMLL, the estimated lost of equipment is between $12,000 and $13,000, and the league just received a donation of equipment, both new and used, to aid in the recovery effort.
