May 2: Murder-Suicide in Bellmore, Cat Colony Relocation on Hold

Five things you need to know today.

1. Tragically, four North Bellmore children came home to find their mother dead on the kitchen floor and their father locked in an upstairs bedroom. Police believe this was a murder-suicide. To read the most up-to-date details, see the story here.

2. In Bellmore, the Town of Hempstead attempted to relocate a feral cat colony. After protests by some of the locals, the Town has put the relocation attempt on hold. See the full story here.
