AGENDA: South Merrick Civic Meeting

  1. Nassau County Police Department  Problem Oriented Policing  (POP) Unit will give an update about any criminal activity within our community. Police Officer Kurt Faraczeck will answer questions from attendees.
  2. Plans for our annual "Spring Clean Sweep" that will begin in April.
  3. Introduction of the newly formed South Bellmore Civic Association. We will discuss mutual issues affecting our communities.
  4. Continued discussion about legislation that would make school busing permissible for children of handicapped or medically challenged parents. Tara Notrica will speak about this issue and explain with her presentation.
  5. Please support the "Franklin M. Soling Scholarship Award" and help keep the memory of Frank Soling alive by making a contribution that will recognize a student who has volunteered for community service within our community.

The meeting will be held at the Merrick Road Park clubhouse on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
