Lindsay Lohan Heads to Westhampton Beach Rehab

Known for being a rehab facility for the Hampton's elite, the Seafield Center in Westhampton Beach will soon be home to the troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan, who will be heading there for a 90-day stint, according to a report on TMZ.com.

TMZ reported on Wednesday morning that a plea agreement allows Lohan, 26, who hails from Merrick, to check into the Seafield Center, which she talked about on the David Letterman show on Tuesday night.

She told Letterman that she will be checking in on May 2 and the opportunity will help her focus on what she loves in life, working.

"It's not a bad thing, it's a blessing," she said.

Lohan's latest rehab stint comes after she dodged jail time after pleading no contest to reckless driving and lying to cops stemming from a crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica on June 9, 2012 — she was heading to the set of her made-for-television movie "Liz & Dick," according to Santa Monica Patch.

Santa Monica Patch further reported that Lohan also admitted to violating her "probation in an earlier Venice theft case, but a 180-day jail sentence for that violation was put on hold by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James R. Dabney, who said if the actress meets all the terms of her latest sentence, her probation in that case will be reinstated and she won't serve any additional time behind bars."

The Seafield Center, according to its website, was founded in 1985 as a 60-bed facility. It has since expanded to 90 beds and operates six outpatient facilities on Long Island.The facility is headed up by Executive Director Mark Epley, who is also the mayor of the Village of Southampton. He is also known as a friend of Lohan's father.

Epley could not be immediately reached for comment.
