The Merrick and North Merrick Public Libraries will be closed Monday due to inclement conditions associated with Hurricane Sandy.
Also, Tuesday night's program author Tim O'Mara at the Merrick Library will be rescheduled, according to Ellen Fire, the library's director.
North Merrick Library Director Tom Witt told Patch that a decision regarding the library's Tuesday status would be made some time on Monday.
