Whether you've already rolled your Christmas tree to the curb yet or not, the Hempstead Town Sanitation Department is offering two upcoming curbside pick-up days.
Christmas trees, wreaths and yard waste will be collected on Wednesday, Jan. 9 and 16.
The Department of Sanitation collects waste and recyclables within the
following communities: Barnum Isle, Bay Park, Bellmore, Bethpage, East
Meadow, Harbor Isle, Levittown, Lido Beach, Merrick, North Lynbrook,
Point Lookout, Salisbury, South Westbury, Seaford, Uniondale and Wantagh.
For more information, contact the town Department of Sanitation at 378-4210 from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
