Hundreds packed into Fraser Park Saturday for a chance at some candy-filled eggs.
Hosted by the North and Central Merrick Civic Association, kids enjoyed a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, which was followed by a race to the eggs.
Legis. David Denenberg, D-Merrick and Town Clerk Mark Bonilla were on hand for the Eggstravaganza to lend encouragement as kids dashed for the sweets.
Many also enjoyed the playground while they were decked out with Easter Bunny ears.
