McDonough Honors Lakeside Students for Participating in Coat Drive

All of the coats collected by students will go to children in need in the community.

Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) recently visited Levy Lakeside Elementary School and presented the student council with an assembly citation for participation in his Coats for Kids campaign.

“I want to thank all the students at Levy Lakeside Elementary for their outstanding efforts in support of Coats for Kids,” McDonough said. “A warm coat for a child without one can make a world of difference."

All of the coats collected by students will go to children in need in the community.

McDonough’s Coats for Kids drive will continue through the holiday season.

Donations are being accepted at his district office at 404 Bedford Avenue in Bellmore on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
