Merrick Organization Raises More Than $600 to Purchase Laptops for Students in Ghana

Merrick organization One is Greater Than None has started an online campaign to raise money to buy 10 laptops for the Srafa Wesley Methodist School Students in Ghana.

The campaign has raised $685 with a goal of $5,000.

One is Greater than None is a non-profit organization created six years ago by eight 14-year-old girls with the mission to inspire others to believe that they can make a difference, no matter how limited their resources are. With fervor to inspire and be inspired, the girls focused on helping fund relief efforts for issues affecting children in Ghana including human trafficking and lack of educational resources. As of today, the organization has raised over $200,000 towards the causes and sponsored the rescue and rehabilitation of 25 children from the fishing trade in Ghana.
