The South Merrick Community Civic Association will be meeting on Tuesday, July 24, 7-9 pm, at the Merrick Road Park Golf Course clubhouse.
The agenda will include an update from the Merrick Road Improvement Committee (MRIC) that was recently formed to continue the revitalization of this busy business corrider. Residents will also announce the formation of the "Friends of Cammanns Pond". A beautiful garden was recently planted at the corner of Lindenmere and Shore Drive located at the south end of the pond as part of SMCCA's "Spring Clean Sweep". This new committee will focus on maintenance and how to improve this popular pond.
