As Thanksgiving approaches, it's a good time to take notice
of the kind things we do for one another. With Superstorm Sandy having
just occurred a few weeks ago, we were thinking about all the ways that
neighbors have been helping neighbors, both near and far.
There were heroes right here in Merrick.
Do you have a story to share about something kind someone did for
you? For your family member? For your friend? You don't necessarily have
to use names — though we encourage you to recognize that special
person. They deserve it, right? Share your stories in the comments
