TOH Issues Information For Residents Looking to Restore Power in Flooded Areas
Many Nassau residents have questions concerning power restoration in
areas that have experienced flooding during Hurricane Sandy. Neighbors
want to know whether the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), the
county, towns or villages are responsible for executing a power
restoration plan to homes and other buildings in those “flood zones.”

Town “Shows” Families Great Holiday Entertainment
Upcoming performances from Hempstead Town's Department of Parks and
Recreation include, comedian/magician Jim McClenahan on Saturday, Nov.
17, at 11 a.m. at the Merrick Road Golf Course Clubhouse and a
theatrical production of “A Winter Fairytale,” on Friday, Dec. 28, 11
a.m. at Levittown Hall.
Jim McClenahan is a town favorite who performs a unique brand of comedy, hand-clappin’ music and seein’ is believin’ magic.
“A Winter Fairytale,” is a Plaza Theatrical Production that will inspire mirth and merriment among children and adults alike.
The Jim McClenahan Show is presented free of charge but tickets are
required. Tickets are available by calling 292-9000, ext. 382, or by
using the ticket form on the town web site at TOH.LI. McClenahan also asks his guests to bring along an unwrapped gift for a needy child (please, no used toys).
Tickets for “A Winter Fairytale” are priced at $5 and can be obtained
by calling the Town of Hempstead Parks Department at (516) 292-9000,
ext. 382 or by using the ticket form found on the town website at TOH.LI.

There were 0 problems…Read More like this when Malucci was in office, this new superintendent is a waste of space, money, and cares more about his own paycheck then our kids! Between school security, and now this, I motion that we get rid of that skell!

As Sacristan at Cure of Ars, I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Rich (as I called him) for some time. He was a man of faith and a pleasure to see. Always with a smile and kind word, you would never know what was going on the way he acted. This was a wonderful and insightful article. It is heartbreaking to think that where there was once love between 2 people, things got to the point where one persons life was destroyed by those who could and did for no apparent reason other than having the ability to do so. God will have mercy on Dr. Rich and the ex-wife and "Judge" should pray for the same given their actions.
