According to David Quinn, a wildlife control operator with Nassau County Wildelife Control and owner of DQ Pest Control, deer are normally found on the north shore of Nassau County, not the south shore.

"They must have moved," he added. "They are so overpopulated in Suffolk County, it was only a matter of time before they encroached into Nassau."
