McDONOUGH, VENDITTO JOIN LOCAL OFFICIALS TO HOST SENIOR I.D. PROGRAM

Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) recently partnered with Nassau County Clerk Nasrin Ahmad and County Legislator Michael Venditto to host a Senior I.D. Program. The event provided seniors with free I.D. cards that include a photo and information useful to emergency medical technicians (EMT) and physicians.

“I want to thank our county legislator and town clerk for their support and participation in this program,” said McDonough. “Having the necessary information during an urgent situation can sometimes mean the difference between life and death. In the case of an automobile accident or other medical emergency, EMTs may need essential information like allergies, medications a patient is taking or significant medical history. This program allows seniors to have this information in a defined location so first responders can access it quickly and easily.”
