Community Guest Reader Day

Nassau County Legislator Dave Denenberg (D-Merrick) enjoyed reading to Old Mill Road School students during Community Guest Reader Day on Friday, January 24, 2014.  He is shown here reading “Major Taylor: Champion Cyclist”  to  Mrs. Levitt’s 4th grade class.  The legislator also handed out  “ice pops for ideas,” by working together with students to think of new laws, or ways to improve county government.
