The Grand Opening of Mannino’s Bagel Bakery

Bagel Café III by Noah has been a staple in the town of Freeport for many years. Known for its delicious old-fashioned hand rolled bagels, Bagel Café has become the place to purchase the best bagels in town. Even though in the last couple of years it has been considered as not being run at its highest potential, many loyal townies have flocked on over from a day to day basis. However, things are about to change.  

As of today Friday, 1/11/13, Bagel Café III will no longer exist. As the doors open at 5:00 in the morning the exact location at 197 Atlantic Ave in Freeport will be celebrating its Grand Opening as Mannino’s Bagel Bakery. With new owners and a new name, major changes are about to be implemented to better the town and every customer to walk into the doors.  

“We are going to work hard to become the next great staple in the town of Freeport,” says the new owner Robert. Some changes are going to be made right from the very start and others will be implemented in the weeks to come. Every change has been revolved around being able to better every customer that walks in. It doesn’t matter whether it is the everyday customer or someone who has visited for the very first time. “From all new menus to everyday lower prices, we are going to cover all the bases,” said Robert. Breakfast and lunch menus have been updated and revamped to included omelets, wraps, Panini sandwiches, fresh salads and much more. Also a whole new side of catering is being introduced for the first time. Whether it is a Super bowl Party, Birthday Party or a family get together, they cater to all needs. The quality of products that are going to be introduced for the first time are going to be like none other offered in the store before. A wide selection of fine cold cuts, a greater selection of various drinks and a freshly baked bakery section is going to be introduced. The bagels will remain the exact same way by being hand rolled and freshly baked every morning. With the soon-to-be introduction of new flavors such as chocolate chip and blueberry, there will truly be a bagel for everyone. The stores major change will be the introduction of a whole new bakery department. Every muffin, cookie, pastry and Danish will be guaranteed for its freshness. The question “Are these fresh?” will no longer need to be asked. All bakery items will be freshly baked on a daily basis.  Many new pastries, cookies and pies will catch the eyes of any customer as they walk in. More is yet to come. In the future hot lunches, fresh cakes, cookie platters, weekly cold cut specials and much more will be offered.

“It is all about the little things,” explained the owner. From now being able to proudly serve Green Mountain Coffee, to serving better bacon on their already delicious breakfast sandwiches, everything was taken into consideration. Customers will be able to get their food, sit down and relax and enjoy the newly added T.V. and free Wifi. Soon customers will even be able to order online and just pick it up. All these little things were changed and put into place by the owner to increase the overall satisfaction of every customer. “Serving the town is what is most important to us,” said the owner. From serving the everyday customer to those less fortunate, Mannino’s Bagel Bakery will be a presence in the town for many years to come. By teaming up with Long Island Cares chapter in Freeport, Long Island’s First Food Bank and Comprehensive Hunger Assistance Organization, Mannino’s Bagel Bakery will donate all left over products instead of the usual throwing away of the items.
