A new eatery is on its way to town.
Danny's Chinese Kitchen is set to open in the former La Pink building at 2370 Merrick Road in Bellmore this month.
Owner Danny Antin said that the restaurant should be open in about three weeks.
"I think this area needs good Chinese food," he said. "And this is the freshest and best Chinese food in town."
Another new and nearby business, Chocolate Works, is set open around the same time.
"This is a growing area and this whole part of Merrick Road is being revitalized," Antin said. "You have Chocolate Works opening and Panera Bread coming across the street."
He said that he looks forward to serving the community.
"This is a great area," he said.
