Nearly the entire contents of the CVS Pharmacy in Merrick were inside several dumpsters in the Merrick Road store's parking lot.

Along this stretch of town, the water rose north of Merrick Road, whereas to the east and west, most areas north were spared.
Customers are urged to use the CVS, located at 2151 Johnston Place in Merrick in the Merrick Mall. The phone number for pharmacy customers is 378-2400.
