Two people were sent to the hospital after a crash near the intersection of Sunrise Highway and Central Boulevard around 2 p.m. Monday, according to Merrick Fire Department officials.
One of the vehicles flipped over due to the crash and landed on a sign in the Radio Shack parking lot. The severity of the motorists injuries is unknown.
